This policy explains what happens to your information when you write to us from www.wiliercr.com. We only use WhatsApp to talk with you: there is no newsletter and no database of our own.
What do we use your personal data for?
The only form on www.wiliercr.com is on each bike's page: you leave us your name and, if you want, a message. We use that to build a pre-filled message and open WhatsApp so you can keep talking directly with the store.
The website does not store that data on any server of its own, and does not use it for anything else. There are no newsletters or automated marketing messages: the only purpose is to open the WhatsApp conversation.
How long do we keep your data?
Since the site's form does not store information — it only builds the message and opens WhatsApp — we do not keep your data on any server of ours. Once the message is sent over WhatsApp, the conversation and its history stay on your phone and the store's, under WhatsApp's own retention policy.
What are your rights over your personal data?
You have the right to confirm whether Wilier Costa Rica holds personal data about you, to access it, and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or deleted when it is wrong or no longer applies.
You can also ask us to limit or stop using your data in the cases the law allows. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at mercadeo@wiliercr.com.
If you do not get a satisfactory answer, you can turn to Costa Rica's Data Protection Agency (PRODHAB), which oversees the Law on the Protection of Individuals Regarding the Processing of Their Personal Data (Ley 8968).
What is the legal basis for handling your data?
The legal basis is your consent: you give us your data voluntarily when you fill out a bike's contact form and send it over WhatsApp. If you do not fill in your name, we cannot build the message or open the conversation.
You can withdraw your consent at any time simply by not writing to us again; that does not affect any conversation you already had with us over WhatsApp.
Who receives your data?
Your name and message are sent only to WhatsApp (a Meta service) to open the conversation with the store you chose. Wilier Costa Rica does not share, sell, or transfer that data to any other third party, and we do not use email marketing services like Mailchimp or commercial mailing lists.
